Ministry, Sacraments and More

at St. James of Jerusalem

a Mission of the Diocese of Long Island

Healing Prayers will be offered on the first Sunday of each month for anyone seeking
· Healing of any illness - physical, emotional, or mental

· Recovery from addictions
· Help in caring for those with addictions
· Healing for a loved one
· Support for something you can’t even name

In the Church’s ancient tradition, as people are comfortable with it, we will pray for healing with the “Laying-on of Hands” and anointing oil.

We are sharing, as far and as widely as we can, the invitation to come for worship at 10:00, if you like, and stay for coffee, after the healing prayers. Take time in our lovely garden to rest your body and soul. Or just show up for prayers, and leave when you like.

On the corner of W. Penn Street and Magnolia Blvd., to the left of St. James church, is a garden in which anyone may make arrangements to bury the ashes of their loved ones, and in which anyone, any day, any time before dark, may sit or walk, and find rest and peace.
